How long have you been in business?

I have been a photographer since 1991 and photographing weddings since 2003.

How would you describe your photography style?

I would describe my style as photojournalistic.

What information do you need from me before the wedding day?

When you book your wedding, you will book through my client management system and that will be all the information I will need for your big day.

How many pictures do you take of our wedding day?

There is no given amount as to how many pictures I take. It depends on the amount of hours I am hired for, formals, the number of people in attendance, people dancing, etc. 

Can we get some pictures in black and white as well as in color?

I edit all of my pictures in color, but if there are particular pictures you would like in black and white I would be happy to accommodate you at no additional charge.

Can you hold a date for us?

Unfortunately, I cannot hold a date unless contact and reservation deposit is paid.

What happens if I have to change or cancel my date?

If you have to change your date, as long as I have your new date available your reservation deposit will be moved to the new date. If the new date is not available or you must cancel, your reservation deposit is non-refundable.

Is there an option for a second photographer?

Yes, there is an option for a second shooter for part or all of the day.

What kind of equipment do you use?

It starts with using a dual camera strap. I carry two Canon 5D Mark III cameras, one with a short lens, and one with a long lens. This allows me to be ready for almost anything. Imagine a photographer with one camera and as the bride walks down the aisle and the camera has a malfunction. Well having two cameras ready this is not an issue. A photographer can’t say stop the wedding I have a camera problem. I also have backup gear just in case, so I am ready for just about anything.

Are you registered and insured?

Expose The Moment is a legally registered business. We are fully insured to include two million in liability insurance. Expose The Moment is also a member of the Professional Photographers Association.

How do you protect our wedding day images?

This is a very important subject, that we do not take this lightly.  My cameras have dual memory card slots, so with each press of the shutter button, the RAW image is captured on each card.  Immediately upon returning from your wedding, your images are download to my computer, which is backed up by a Synology Disk Station Raid Array.

Once the images are processed into readable files, they are uploaded in full resolution to my website. This is a worldwide service that has redundant backup systems in place. Expose The Moment takes every precaution when dealing with your image's, however, no one solution is perfect, but we have these procedures in place to ensure your photographs are safe.

When will we be able to see our photographs?

Per the contract delivery time is two to six weeks, however, most wedding galleries are delivered within two weeks.  Please be aware that there are times when I am unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances.  Every effort is made to process your images within the two to six week period.

What is the online gallery

The online gallery is a service that I provide through my website. You along with family and friends can view the images from your wedding and order any prints that they want.   A slideshow system is built in for your convenience.  You can also share images or the whole gallery to online social media sites. All clients receive their images with print rights, but you can also order professional prints from your gallery.

Are there any travel fees and do you travel for wedding coverage?

Anything over 60 miles may incur a travel fee.
